If you own a Playdate, this is THE GAME you should get for it. Genuinely is so phenomenaly well made, this isn't a game that's really good 'for the Playdate', this game is just extremely good full stop.
You can download it directly from Playdate Catalog and it gets installed directly, but if you buy it from here, the game comes with a "Read Me" document with all the instructions about how to load it in your Playdate :)
it should be coming out tomorrow! under the hood panic marks the games as available for purchase a couple days before the actual release date just to make sure nothing goes wrong on the day. for games like under the castle that are publicly listed as "Coming Soon" beforehand, the pages have to come down when they do this so nobody can buy it before its intended release date. it should be back up tomorrow at 10am PT alongside the other new games
Thank Goodness! When I noticed it wasn't on their page I was thinking it got pulled...Which would have blown... I am very excited to play this game! I will be clicking the buy button right at 10am or 1pm for me here.

I love how weighty the attacks are. A lot of rogue games just have the sprites bonk together. Overall amazing style!
